Green Tara Mantra: Oṃ Tāre Tuttāre Ture Svāhā
Om: Represents the sacred sound of the universe, encompassing the body, speech, and mind of the enlightened ones. It serves as a seal of purity and spiritual awakening.
Tare: Signifies "the one who liberates" or the liberator. It represents Tara’s power to save beings from suffering, worldly dangers, and the cycle of rebirth.
Tuttare: Signifies liberation from the eight external dangers (such as fire, water, or enemies) and, more importantly, the internal dangers of ignorance, attachment, and hatred.
Ture: Signifies the swift, active nature of compassion. It represents Tara’s ability to act instantly to resolve problems and bring about spiritual healing.
Soha: A Sanskrit term meaning "may this be established" or "so be it." It is an act of surrendering the intention of the mantra into the heart of the deity, solidifying the blessing.
